Berufliche Laufbahn
I am from Norfolk, England, and have a degree in Geology. After 25 years as a dedicated science teacher in Hampshire, I transitioned to teaching ToK for the IB program. Throughout my career in public and private English education, I have held leadership positions, including as Head Teacher and Head of Teaching and Learning. In April 2018, I became Director at the International School in Bremen, which is dedicated to nurturing the rich diversity within an international educational community. In June 2024, I assumed the chairmanship of the AGIS Board.
Beitrag zur Mission von AGIS
As an active member of AGIS, I have contributed to the DEIJ initiative and promoted student voice, aligning with our board's efforts in advocacy and collaboration with the IB. My work involves addressing specific political and financial challenges unique to the German landscape. Additionally, I am committed to enhancing our AGIS conference and strengthening the collaboration of our working groups. I continue to advocate for these goals and ensure the central role of AGIS in shaping international education policy and practice in the German context.
