AGIS Conference

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the AGIS school representatives, co-organizers of the annual AGIS Conference; we would like to invite you to the seventh AGIS Conference in Hannover, on Friday 6th, Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th February, 2009.

We are all 'working together to support learning' in our schools, whatever we do in our respective roles. How we work matters to our students and this conference is one of the main ways of sharing our expertise and learning from each other, to communicate and promote what we do in a way that also celebrates who we are as an organization.

Please read the attached schedule carefully and note that choices of the workshop, presentations and round tables you wish to attend can be made between the 29th of October and the 19th of November.

We also invite you to go to workshops that lie outside your present professional focus too: this is a rare opportunity to see what else is happening in our schools.

We also have the extended opportunity of participation in the pre-conference workshops: - English as An Additional Language, Learning, Math and Music - as well as various curriculum interest groups to be announced. There will also be coordinator meetings for IB Diploma, MYP and for IGCSE colleagues on Friday afternoon, 1400-1700.

For those of you who have attended before, do spread the word to your colleagues and help us to have another successful conference, one that really celebrates the educational qualities that make our schools so special.
